UPDO/UPDON'T How fantastic are these pins?!  During this season of fancy parties and bling, why not try a new take?  Using clips, combs or even bobby pins, when putting your hair up, can make a casual style so much more!  The images shown here are styles you can do without going to the salon.  The pins do all the style work!

Having great hair isn't that hard.  It just takes a little effort and guidance.  We are here for you.  At your next blow dry, ask your stylist do so a simple updo (fancy word for 'hair that is up') and maybe test out my theory.  Trust me, the compliments will fly... I'm just sayin'...

Four of my co-workers and I saw a play last night that was, well, incredible.  Two clients were in it and we thought we would check it out.  Butcher, the play we saw was so moving (we laughed and we cried) that it's made me want to post about it!  I know that sounds so cliche but it's the truth.

I won't give anything away but it made me realize how blessed I am.  This play made me want to remind us all to be present in the things we do and say.  Let's be present when we're with each other and not our cell phones.  Let's take the time to really appreciate each other and be with each other.  Sometimes life can be so hard but I always try to remember that at least I have it.  My life.  It's unique and it's all mine.  Even when things seem hazy and painful, I can't help but think of how so many humans live their lives in hostile conditions and environments.  Wow.  I'm just so thankful and grateful to be given this specific life.

If you've never experienced a play, I urge you to go.  It's so real and there is absolutely nothing like it.  Live a little...

Freshair Boutique presents...

CORI JAYE We have officially kicked off our art initiative!  This Thursday we are having a special showing of our new art installation. Cori Jaye will be the third artist to be featured, and we are hosting a viewing from 6-9 pm.

Our initiative aims to expose local artists to Winnipeg.  Freshair Boutique is passionate about the Arts and our new shop has a gallery feel!  Every 12 weeks we will feature a new artist.  We're very excited about this endeavor and are hoping we can really help support this growing community.
