Learn how to work with Afros & Other hair types and diversify your client base. The hair industry has never included Afros and other hair types properly. They have failed to be diverse, equitable and inclusive to the fact that not everyone has hair that hangs down. We aim to educate and support all stylists who want to expand their skill set.
This 8-week course will teach stylists five foundational styles, along with loc maintenance, and cutting. You will be provided with a complete toolkit, including a mannequin and products. All styles will be trained with live models. By the end, stylists will leave with a better understanding of Afros and other hair types, the ability to offer new services with confidence, and a list of potential future clients.

Depending on your choice at booking, you’ll be set up with our basic kit or our advanced kit. Upon completion of your final exam, you will received a signed letter of completion with the mark of approval to add these services to your offering!

Advanced Kit:

Please note that all classes are final sale. While we understand that circumstances beyond control do arise, full refunds cannot be made. If a change is requested, we are happy to make exchanges as follows:
If more than 48 notice is provided from the course start date, we will be happy to move students into an alternative class at no charge. If a change is requested less than 48 hours before the class, we are able to move students into an alternative class at a $100 transfer fee.
